At The Edge Of A Field

They were busy clearing the footpath that runs alongside the field so I helped them out by grabbing a handful or two of grasses and weeds. I then took them home and used my scanner and a little bit of jiggery-pokery on the computer to create these pictures.....

I'm not sure which treatment I like best, but I had a lot of fun experimenting. Photos without using a camera!

Take care.

  3. Your wizardry is impressive, John. It is apparent to all that you have had post doctoral training in jiggery pokery.

  4. The daisies and the grasses immediately above them are my favourites John but I love them all. You are a clever lad - every one is worthy of printing off and framing (and selling so let me know if you decide to do that please}

  19. These were delightful fun to see, John, and just goes to show that creativity is possible even without a camera. I liked the daisies and the poppies. And, it was very thoughtful and helpful of you to help with the clearing by taking samples home for this experiment.

  21. These are stunning. I had no idea this could be done. I agree, artwork, notepads, cards...they'd be great for all of these, or just framing.

  22. I thought the first one was a cyanotype sun print. They are all very effective. Jiggery pokery is such fun.

  23. I'm recently widowed and doing a little redecorating of the house as a "pick me up". I'm changing colors in my now single bedroom and have been stuck on pictures for the walls. You just showed me what I want. Please think seriously of selling some. I'll be your first customer. Julia in Texas
