Misty Blue

One of those still and chill mornings when mist creeps up silently from the frozen ground. Horses stand patiently in the pastures awaiting the warmth of the sun. A few New Year's resolution runners jog along the woodland path but very few other people are around. Pigeons perch disconsolately in the tree tops and rooks slowly circle the fields. A solitary deer nervously crosses the track up ahead and vanishes among the brambles. A man plods on in search of beauty.

Take care.
