What fun! I enjoyed both parts. Scarecrow festivals seem to be becoming very popular, I saw an Olympic themed one on another blog recently, they are so creative.
I enjoyed this scarecrow series including the previous post. How imaginative and creative! They are more like life-size dolls than scarecrows. Some of them can’t scare crows, and I myself will be scared by some of them when I see them in the dim light.
Scarecrows in the rice paddies is one of typical autumn scenes of Japan and Scarecrow festivals/contest are held in some places, too.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
How imaginative, creative and entertaining are these scarecrows - bet they do a mighty job and are worthy of medals!
ReplyDeleteTwo great posts John!
ReplyDeleteThere are some clever people around! I love the one of 'Her Majesty', good to see HRH and plenty of folk have a good sense of humour!
Thanks for sharing!
Very creative. And I love the bit of cheek with the Queen's parachute stuck in a tree.
