Haslingfield Scarecrow Festival (1)

The village of Haslingfield in Cambridgeshire seems to have a higher percentage of enthusiastic, creative and imaginative people than most other places. And when they organise a Scarecrow Festival you can be sure that many will get behind the project to produce...well, lets take a look...

You'll not be surprised that there were also
several scarecrows inspired by The Olympics and our
summer of sport;
I'll show you those soon.

Take care.

  1. What a good laugh John ... I love those two ladies having a tea party .... Maybe there was more than tea in those cups.

  2. It broadens my sense of what a scarecrow is.

  4. Brilliant I love scarecrows, there is a scarecrow festival here in Meerbrook every year, in May, and I've posted photos of that before. Some people put in a lot work for their entries!

  5. These are incredibly creative and adorable, it doesn't matter they're not exactly scary! :) (Well, except for that person with the falling ladder, eek).

  11. I am utterly enchanted... fantastic creativity and sense of humor. We have nothing like this here in the states, except maybe around Halloween. Fun collection!
