Under Blue Skies

The last couple of days here have been glorious; pleasantly warm, a fresh breeze and cloudless, blue skies. Time for a gentle pedal through the countryside, stopping occasionally for refreshments and frequently to take photographs.

Take care.

  4. exactly what it's like here in the Shropshire Hills too. It's a bit too hot for me to go out in the midday sun, but I can manage to enjoy the cooler mornings and evenings.

    Enjoy the ride.

  7. Aren't the hawthorn's wonderful this year? Hope you didn't get too hot during your ride, it's beautiful here too but I tend to do my outside activities in the morning and evening when it's as hot as this.

  8. Delightful captures John, which brought back many happy memories of my oft-referred to precious 6-week revisit to England in May-June of 2009. Thanks for the happy stirrings!

  9. Many pretty flowers today. Although, when I see dandelions going to seed, my temperature rises.

  10. I can often identify the flowers in your lovely photos, but wish blogger had't removed the click and zoom in feature, as sometimes I'd like a closer look.

  11. Hi there - splendid set of pictures - I really like the post box / hawthorn shot. Used to see flowers like this all the time - but things are a bit different here!
