The streets around here are not paved with gold - not as far as I know anyway - but yesterday afternoon I took a stroll to the village woodland where there is treasure for all who visit.
Some splendid photographs here with a real eye for composition. Fall really is a fabulous time of the year - or can be - so far November has been raw and miserable here, with even the first snow.
Hi John gorgeous photos ... I rather imagined you going to the pub for a golden cider ... but perhaps you had a beer - still golden malt. Looks just beautiful - cheers Hilary
We have been blessed with a truly lovely Autumn this year and you have beautifully captured natures last 'hurrah' perfectly. These photos are a pleasure to see John.
Wonderful trees and leaves, fences and stairs, colours and light, reflections and shades... If you saw how dark and grey it's here in these days, you would understand why my smile is so wide (and dreaming), when I'm seeing your photos.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).

ReplyDeleteThat last shot is a Monet, right?
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, as always, we don't get those lovely autumn colours here in the north of New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the streets John but these images are gold, spectacular reflections also. I'm with Louise, this is my kind of treasure ✨
