Colours Of The Strawberry

It's the first weekend in June, so it's time for Cambridge's Strawberry Fair on Midsummer Common. It's been going for over forty years now and, my, how it's grown! But it's still free to enter and run for the people of Cambridge, by the people of Cambridge. It started off with a  peaceful hippy vibe and it still has it. The music has changed but "festival fashion" is still recognisable - still crazy after all these years. Come and have a look at the amazing colour.....

...Believe it or not this was a decorated rubbish bin.

And of course there was lots of music. I'll show you a few of the performers later in the week.

Take care.

  5. First of all I buried myself in that wonderful plethora of colour, and then went on to read your last post, John, with comments on books and eccentrics, etc. Always enjoyable and thought provoking.
