Hi John - wonderful photos ... the only ones I've seen were the Lavenham half-timbered houses ... but I definitely would like to visit all of them - love the Great Tithe Barn and the Wisbech Museum .. but all the others too ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice collection of photos you have John! I like the half-timbered houses especially the one that is leaning. I wonder what it is like to be in it.

Such a great variety of fine images. I especially liked the one of the leaning, half-timbered houses. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty and variety! Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteMy friend actually got his grades to go to St Johns, unlike me who missed mine to get into St Catharine's
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely part of the world you live in, John.
ReplyDeleteI especially love your photos of castles and churches. Another nice collection!
ReplyDeleteLavenham and Castle Rising - two of my favourite places John But the rest of the photos make we want to go there too.
ReplyDeleteGreat images here. Those half timbered leaning buildings amaze me that they are still standing. The thatched roofs are incredible works of art. There was one such roof in our neighborhood when I lived in Carmel, CA, and a fella was almost constantly working on it. It was a normal sight to see him up there, working away.
ReplyDeleteThose were definitely worth a second look.
ReplyDeleteYou've taken so many wonderful photos over the years. Thanks for sharing them, and re-sharing them.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful archirwcture you've captured! I like that crooked house!
ReplyDeleteThank you John for sharing such a marvellous series of differing architectural styles. Love your work!
ReplyDeleteI can see why these are favorites. They are some amazing places!
ReplyDeleteAmazing places and amazing photography! A super post John.
ReplyDeleteI would love that dovecote in my garden!
Mom and Dad were married in the Church of the English Martyrs. I have not yet made it there, except to drive by with Les. Ely I loved, the town and the cathedral. A special place. I can see I will need yet another trip to England, after the one this September, to see the south of the country and to visit that pub!
