sweet, sweet little creatures! we once had about 30 sheep--the lambs were delightful--the curly tight wool, the wagging tails--the frolicking! I even like the way they smell. I miss them. The coyotes liked them, too. :(
Love your lamb pictures John, - and the ewes too. Lots of memories - we had, at one time, a flock of 400 sheep and nothing was as delightful as feeding time when the lambs would race around the barn yard, jumping and springing, while the mamas lined up and scoffed the hay in the feeders. This is when we made a general inspection as to who might be the next to lamb and keep us up in the night!
It is spring! And lambs are a part of it as much as anything or anybody. If these were born this year, I see that your season starts earlier than ours. The beginning of April is more like it around here.
Ahh a sure sign of spring -- babies lambs. These are a very pleasing view with their gentle playing and checking out mama lamb. I think spring is here or least by my calendar it is -- thanks for sharing -- barbara

ReplyDeleteThat is very cute, John. The mother won't take her eyes off you. And the little lambs look like clowns jumping and running in your direction.
