January Morning

We've had some subtly beautiful mornings this week. Not the kind of beauty you'd notice while scraping ice from your windscreen, it's true, but a sprinkling of gentle magic even so. Just the kind of thing to catch my eye on an early walk around the fields near home.

A handful of memories of how things looked on a particular day in January 2022.

Take care.

  3. January has been lovely - blue skies, a sharp chill in the air, and bags of sunshine. Even my snowdrops are in flower.

  5. Hoar frost. Can do wonders to a landscape. The magic of winter is truly revealed when the sun shines on it and a walk through woodland and meadow is delightful.

  6. That should read "Hoar frost can do......" with no period after frost and sans capital "C". Do you think one day the dexterity of my fingers will align with my brain? I doubt it!

  7. Lovely photos all...the photographer does an excellent job of finding just the right background that shows off the subject, or perhaps nothing at all. I traveled through these beautiful shots thinking one might not do this, but I was wrong. It's a gift! You have it and share it...and I receive it and enjoy same.
