You found lots of colour. It's much colder here today and there is some snow around. I don't know what that will do to the premature spring bulbs and blossom!
Beautiful, - fills me with longing. Tender flowers and such gorgeous greenery. We have a continual foggy mist that fills the valley from top to bottom. Enjoy the loveliness....
This are a sight for sore eyes! I feel like winter has just begun and I am ready for some color. I especially like that last shot...all the colors and textures.
These all seem like indicators of spring approaching John, that must be a welcome sight :) The last shot with the tree bark and ivy is a delightful mixture of texture and colour!
I share the similar weird winter scenes with you here in Japan. Over the years, strange landscape with unusually early blooms of Ume blossoms (which look like the fourth image) or still lingering colored leaves was reported. It had been so warm unusually; it did feel so comfortable but didn’t feel right. Suddenly weather became wintry about a week ago and now it’s freezing cold. Snowfall caused transport chaos in Tokyo but will keep nature in order. Wish you a happy, healthy year.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
This so called winter has been ridiculous to date, chilly tonight though!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! About the last one, is that a painted wall with peeling paint? Very curious! I wish you continued winterless weather.
ReplyDeleteA tree with peeling bark, actually.

ReplyDeleteHow can you have flowers in bloom and green things around at this time of year!? You're a long way north of us!
ReplyDeleteWet and green sounds wonderful John .... every thing here is brown and dry. Great pic of fungi near the moss tree trunk

ReplyDeleteSnowdrops and blossoms=winter? I guess so in England.
ReplyDeleteCold enough for squeaky snow here.

Fungi and flowers....it's been awhile in my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteHm, looks like spring, not winter. You have a wonderful eye for color and details.
