That's right. Look back at photos taken in parks and gardens back in the summer.

A lovely colourful collection, it hasn't been to wet here (the rain only arrived an hour or two ago) but is has been so gloomy, with grey skies and plenty of wind. The joys of autumn :)
ReplyDeleteMy next post, coming up in a day or two, is one I think you might enjoy.
Lovely bit of color on a dreary and rainy day here. Nice to look back on all the pretty flowers we took photos of. They will get us through the winter.
ReplyDeleteI just love those poppies by the roadside John.
ReplyDeleteWonderful colours. I particularly admire the angle you've photographed those poppies from. Blazing sunshine in the north of England; though I may be lying...
ReplyDeleteOh, the joy of going back to photos - I find it so relaxing, even having a quick play around with a photo on my iPhone is a great stress reliever and cheerer-upper. And gardens too are soothing and uplifting. Perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteJohn -- your photos are incredible as always! -- barbara
ReplyDeleteWe will really be needing to see those glorious flower photos again about the end of January!
ReplyDeleteThat's the way to deal with a gloomy day :) Great shots.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so rich and beautiful. They radiate the warmth of summer. Wonderful view for a rainy day!
ReplyDeleteWhat better thing to do on a damp grey day John than to look back through old pics. You've found some real treasures especially those wonderful crimson poppies by the roadside in Meldreth.
ReplyDeleteLying soggily in the gutter...now that is an image most interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou have cheered my day up no end John!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your colourful, beautiful and cheery summer flowers!
What lovely summer reminders on a rainy day :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a knack with flower photos, my man!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visits during my Italian sojourn. After today's comment, I also googled the sculptor. You are right. He seemed to like bodies missing parts . . . I wonder what his thought process was. BTW, the sculptor died just a week before I visited Agrigento and took the photos.
Great shots of beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteAlways the best way to deal with a rainy day - just look back and remind ourselves of a great summer. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI don't care how good the rain is for the garden just bring me some sunshine!
