  2. Lovely photos - and thanks for pointing out the cycle hair error!! I have changed it now, I read that post through twice and thought I had spotted all the mistakes!

  3. Beautiful images, John. Especially the black cat.

Your comment today about the American School for the Deaf is exactly right. The school's enrollment is declining because a variety of technical improvements make it easier to maistream deaf students, so enrollment is shrinking. The old building is just too big for current needs, and it would cost a fortune to rehab it into a suitable modern space. Even though I am pretty traditional in my tastes, I support the decision to tear it down. They have hired a local architect with an international reputation to design the smaller replacement building. In time, the new building will also probably become iconic.

  4. Oh my John, what a lovely collection of shots... especially love the black cat on the path. Do you ever participate in memes? I host one that opens every Saturday morning. I'd love you to come enter one of these beautiful shots to share you photographer's eye with me and my readers. Here's the link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=713 Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.

  6. Wonderful photos! I love this time of year when everything is so green. Your photos of the cow parsley are magical - love the contrast with the black cat:)

  7. What a lovely set of photos, I love the black cat among the Queen Anne's Lace. These really show what an English spring is all about.
