The Pictures On My Wall (4)
A few months ago I did some posts about the pictures I'd chosen to put on the walls of my house. Somehow this one got forgotten....
......probably because I couldn't think of much to say about it. It was taken early one morning near Santon Downham in Breckland. I love the rather mysterious light and the stoicism of the horses.
Take care.

ReplyDeleteI love this picture!!! Just breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to say anything about that photo John, it speaks for itself, brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I love the misty atmosphere and the beautiful, strong shapes the horses make together. Wonderful shot, worthy of display.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your kind words.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful peaceful photo John - love how the soft early morning light shines through in the background!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing feel to that photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie, thank you Dianne.
ReplyDeleteSo full of atmosphere - I like the way you caught the mist of the horse's breath.
ReplyDeleteI often read my favorite blogs when I don't have time or wits to comment, so wanted to return for a closer look at this lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the landscape is much different I am reminded of our years in Wyoming where horses are a common sight. I remember the steam rising from their patient bodies as they stood together waiting for whatever warmth the day might offer.
