Take care.
These are great. I like the three kids, the box and the dancing bones.
ReplyDeleteSuch amazing art in a beautiful setting. I particularly like ferryman. I really must catch this before it finishes. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose are some fascinating sculptures!
ReplyDeleteGreat sculptures. I've seen some of these on my 365 project website too and I now want to visit Hatfield House!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are spectacular works of art. I just had Roger take a look at them with me, and I wouldn't be surprised if you heard us shouting our appreciation over all these miles from California to you! Truly grand.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all liked them as much as I did. If you're planning to visit try to go on a Wednesday when the East Garden is also open to the public. If you're nearby then go ASAP since your ticket gives you free access to the Park and West Garden (therefore all the sculptures too) for the rest of the summer. It's easy to get to by train as the entrance to the park is right opposite Hatfield Station on the Kings Cross-Welwyn-Stevenage-Cambridge line.
ReplyDeleteLove these...Especially the first one & the nude are my favorites....love the great photos of the swans too!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a jackpot for art and photographers! The are all such talented artists.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous, - the ferryman, the children and the modern Venus appeal, but how wonderful to be able to feel the shapes as well as see....
ReplyDeleteImpossible to pick a favourite John, although the homage to Matisse is priceless.. You must have had a wonderful time taking these shots.. It shows!
ReplyDeleteLiked all your photos -- especially the humorous Homage to Matisse and the Gnome Hunter -- yes, especially the Gnome Hunter! -- barbara
ReplyDeleteInteresting sculptures, and such a variety of styles. My favorite is the first one, but they are all intriguing.
