However did you pull off that top shot? I'd like to think it is for real and not done with photoshop. The last one leaves the option of you holding the leaf out of frame. At any rate, well conceived.
Wonderful Autumn colours -love these photos.
It's hard to imagine that you are in Autumn when we in the Antipodes are now in Spring. Great Autumn Tones.
...it's my favourite time of year here John, when Autumn seems to go on forever with bright sunny but crisp mornings to enjoy outdoors in the garden. The long hot days of summer kind of burn me out...
This is a delightful hymn to this beautiful season!
Great seasonal photos! I love the raindrops on the rosehips and the sun refelcted on the apples:)
Yum - apples and plums. The veins on the leaves are great designs. Really like the watery shot.Hope you got through the storm all right.
You certainly can capture fantastic photos. You obviously have a great camera to help with those photos. But composition is all up to you and you do a wonderful job of it. -- barbara
Wonderful tribute to autumn John.. If life were perfect :) spring and autumn would each last six months :))
Your blog helps me to see your part of the world. There are so many things older then we have in the states. Your pictures are fantastic.Margie Smith, USA

October is my very favourite month, - I try to hang on to it as I find November very melancholy. Beautiful pictures, John.
Great set of pictures - do you make sloe gin!!Stewart M - MelbournePS: thanks for the comment on my long post blog.
A close-up of autumn, with colours and tastes to match. My favourite is the reflection in the water, without showing the trees themselves. I love those.
Autumn is such a lovely time of year and deserves to be remembered in such beautiful photos.
I see we have something in common ... your 3rd last photo is SO worthy of a place in my latest post!! Thank you so much for your kind comment - I'm thinking of doing an 'earth', 'fire' and 'air' series along the same lines!!
I love autumn because in Louisiana it finally cools enough to enjoy the outdoors with out sweating profusely.lovely colors
