  8. Very cool shots!! (pun intended). Almost looks like something I would expect to see looking through a microscope. I'm guessing you used a good macro lens? Love the patterns and detail.

  12. I love those ice shots! Ironically, though we are colder, I rarely see neat ice patterns, because the ice is always covered in snow!

  13. Well, that's true John, and you have some lovely pictures of the icy patterns. I loved it in my youth when skating was my winter passion, - however, it also has a devilish sense of humour as it lays in wait for the careless and aged!!!!
