ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I especially love October. The Anglo Saxon names are curious. Monath is part of six of the month names and it looks like after is part of January and July. Any idea what geola is? Winter is part of October and it looks like easter in April. Interesting!

ReplyDeleteWonderful, John. You have great variety. When I begin to pick a favorite, another one pops into mind. I love the mix of natural (gorgeous February tree reflection!), festivals (horse cart and train) and gardens (April, May and August).

ReplyDeleteVery mild here in Ontario, Canada, too. In fact this week will reach 13C, and it will definitely be a green (or rather brown and muddy) Christmas this year. The ski resort operators and wringing their hands, and opening up their miniature golf courses instead. Crazy weather. But winter will come to Canada, it always does.

Brilliant idea, John - and superb photos (of course)! You gonna publish that calendar and flog copies of it? I'm sure it would sell. I must look up why September is apparently 'holy month' - unless you know? I almost hesitate to say this - but have a very Merry Christmas if you can and all the best for 2016.
