Thanks. All the shots were manipulated (horrible word) using Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, very much a poor man's program but one that I know my way around after many hours of tinkering. The one that you like, Carolyn, is an effect known as Kaleidoscope, the picture was originally just a close up of a small patch of Stonecrop.
I enjoy the variety of styles you used to photograph these flowers. I especially like the black background of the red flower. It really adds impact to the image.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
The flowers are beautiful! I love the delphiniums and how did you do the second one? The one with all the yellow? It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think all your experiments turned out very well!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!
ReplyDeleteSome excellent photo manipulation.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful images John.
ReplyDeleteVery painterly. I think I might like the effects better than the ones in Photoshop.

ReplyDeleteClever images John! I particularly like the softness of the Pink flower! It looks to be an Orchid?
