A Calendar For 2020

It's become a regular tradition for me to rummage through my photographs at this time of year to find twelve that might make a calendar for the next year. It seems to get harder every year as things don't always occur as you'd expect - no snow in January and autumn colurs coming later and later each year. Anyway these are the ones I came up with...

january

february

march

april

may

june

july

august

september

october

november

december

Take care (and all the best for next year of course).

  1. If nothing else the discipline of going through your photographs to come up with this retrospective will bring back memories of the year you had.

    1. Yes, snowdrops can start blooming in January (or even late December) and can even appear when a little snow is on the ground.

  6. It's a great way to remember the past year, though it must be terribly hard to choose 'only' twelve. They are all beautiful, my personal favourite is June. You captured a wonderful moment there.

  7. That is worth hanging on any wall - brilliant photographs John. Is there any way I wonder that I could convert it into a calendar?

  9. When you see the year set out as you have done, it makes you realise just how rapidly the monthly landscape and nature change over the year.
    A lovely set of photos.

  24. Wonderful, wonderful pictures. I'm particularly fond of June. And I love December. Are the girls in August your family?

  25. That’s a nice variety of photos representative of each month for your calendar. There are apps for making calendars using one’s own photos and I’ve often thought of trying it.
