A walk around the Botanic Garden's little lake on a drizzly morning:
I'm not sure if this one's a photo or not.....
Take care.
Love the autumn colors. I like the photo showing the leaves in the water with the tiny drops.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours of autumn. Lovely photos, John.
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful colours developing :)
ReplyDeleteI suppose the moral of the story is that a little drizzle shouldn't keep one indoors.
ReplyDeleteA lovely mix of colours!
ReplyDeleteAutumn's colours are superb this year aren't they?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Fall colors!
ReplyDeleteGlorious autumn. You did her justice, John.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walk at a beautiful time of year.
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn photos
ReplyDeleteThe soft lighting and damp leaves let us see shape and color without harsh shadows!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos and beautiful colours:)
ReplyDeleteThere is something about the colors of autumn that tug at the heart. So beautiful and ephemeral.
ReplyDeleteThe autumn colours brighten even the drizzliest of days John 🍁
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, especially that third one. Somehow, even on a dull and drizzly day, the autumn reds manage to sing out brightly.
ReplyDeleteAs always, beautiful photos including the last one.
ReplyDeleteYour autumn is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI so love a sweet gum tree...they are my favorite tree and if not for the prickly things that drop from them, I would have at leas one in my yard, and maybe more.
ReplyDeleteI would love a walk in the rain...I used to enjoy picking apples in the rain, so long as there was no lightning. (I worked at an apple orchard for a=19 years) There is just a kind of hush all over when it rains.
Brilliant John - the colours of the foliage together with your photos are just delightful ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteNo words are needed here, John. The water reflections are favorite subjects of mine as well.
