(Still catching up from my busy weekend!) There's always something going on at Cambridge Market but on Sundays there's a little more emphasis on craft items and a little less fruit and veg. And it's all very colourful. Take a look....
You'd love Cambridge then, it must be one of the best places in the world to pick up second-hand books. When I had a spell of unemployment that was all that got me through my days.
There is a lot to like there...I love the pottery. And when we used to go to things like this, I could never resist browsing books. Always looking a treasure.
Hi John - that looks quite delightful ... would love to visit the market ... as you say delightful colours ... and craft - the cherry cake ... the cat coaster, the huge tomato ... delicious ... such fun to see - cheers Hilary
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
That pie looks tempting. So do the books.
ReplyDeleteMarkets are such fun just to have a look around. Fine products by the look of it!
ReplyDeleteI'll take a bag full of books! I love markets.

DeleteOh the handbags! And the fabrics! I need to go to bigger markets so I can see and drool over more than our little Sat. morning market has.
ReplyDeleteGreat market obviously. I could spend twenty bucks just on olives, surely one of life's great treats.

ReplyDeleteThe other thing I should mention it dismays me to see all those tomatoes in plastic containers. There has to be a better way.
ReplyDeleteQuite a variety of items there. But my interest stopped at the fresh tomatoes and veg. I also liked the fruit tart, a lot.
ReplyDeletelLooks great, but gotta lose that plastic. Yikes,
