The shades of green in the eighth photo are gorgeous. What a lovely walk! Good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteThank-you … I enjoyed my evening walk from the comfort of my armchair!
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs.
All the best Jan
Splendid views from the high ground.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to have a serious talk to Les. All that pastoral beauty and he is taking pictures of Luton???
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, quintessential English countryside! Wonderful shot of the two lone poppies.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful day in the country. I love the picture of the bright poppies. That Willowherb is pretty spectacular too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, as always. I do love my glimpses of England through your lens.
ReplyDeleteThe country views are stunning, John. Lovely poppies there!
ReplyDeleteI always think that Rosebay Willowherb is the the most wonderful descriptive name for a flower! I like your picture of the red poppies at the edge of the field. They say English countryside to me, although they didn't really grow in North Devon where I grew up.
ReplyDeleteI had to smile at David N G's comment.
Thank you for doing the leg-work, and lens-work that you've shared with us here. It certainly does take me away from my small corner of the world to see the beautiful countryside in yours.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful walk. Love the sky and vistas there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walk, lovely scenes and views. Thanks for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, John.
Especially love'fieldside poppies' John.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could adequately say how much I love these...specially the fieldside poppy one and the one right below it...oh, and I like that one above it, too. I might as well say I love them all...but the first two mentioned are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThe English countryside certainly looks gloriously green after the rain 💚 I particularly like the two poppy view 😉 Gorgeous images as always John, and I suspect the Banksia flowers in your Botanic garden would be much more polite than our rude Aussie one's 😀
ReplyDeleteWonderful greens in these photos. Rain will do that for you.
ReplyDeleteThe poppies are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi John - views of Luton pretty?! Wonderful walk around with you ... the lane, and the plants ... cheers - lovely to see, even if I'm late ... Hilary
ReplyDeleteLovely countryside scenes :)
