  7. I continue to marvel at how the Dutch played with modifying these bulbs (through pollination I guess) in order to come up with so many beautiful varieties, and in the 16 century no less.

  18. Such amazing variety! I have little luck with them here but I do love them. I remember my mother's gardens, full of tulips in April and May. I think our wild temperature variations do not make them happy.
