And yesterday wandering through the Botanic Gardens in Cambridge I consumed as many greens as I could find, ignoring all the tastier colours that were on offer.
So I now offer them to you. It won't count as one of your "five a day", but I hope it won't give you indigestion either.
Everything seems super-luxuriant this year,
the result of an early spring and just enough rain an sun.

Or perhaps really mystical depending on your thinking. Glad you included the photo of the bracket fungi -- I have seen them often but never knew what to call them -- thanks for the tour -- barbara
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Bracket fungi is a general term used for many types of fungus which take this form; they rot the heartwood and are generally bad news for the tree.
