  9. 1967 - Canada's Centennial Year. Montreal hosted a world's fair - Expo '67. It was a very big year for Canadians with lots of Centennial projects happening all across the country. And yes, kids were popping pills. Love the watery texture and bright colours.

  10. And now all This......great post, John. I was busy steering children through their teen years in 1967 and we had hippies working on the farm, some with vehicles aspiring to be just like this wonderful creation.

  11. Very colourful and creative, John. Coincidentally, Adelaide has just completed its annual "Bay to Birdwood" car rally in vehicles similar to this. It's a fun event for owners of vintage, veteran and classic cars to showcase these magnificent vehicles as they participate in a 72km drive from Glenelg (the Bay) on the coast to the National Motor Museum at Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills. Along the route people line the roads to cheer them on. Some participants even dress in period costume to add to the atmosphere. It's a great opportunity to see these fabulous cars up close, and marvel at the craftmanship that went into their production. Thanks for sharing.
