The 8.47 is a beautiful shot, but the subtle sweet shades of the first photo really speak to me, John. I can imagine crossing that frosty field with the dried grass crisp between my feet, and the sky that lovely serene pink.....
I so love these images! Though snow isn't present on the images, I still have this feeling like I'm in Winter Wonderland. Love the soft tone of the pictures. It is really relaxing. Double-thumbs up to you!
My you have been busy dashing about with your camera. I love hoar frost. We didn't have one here but five miles down the road the trees were exquisite. Today is ten degrees warmer and mud everywhere.
What a beautiful series of shots! Please come share your favorite (mine is the Queen Anne's Lace against the wood siding) on 'Weekly Top Shot.' We're on Week #13 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=5870

ReplyDeleteNice series and you nailed it on that barbed wire shot! Neat.
ReplyDeletegreat series of photos; I can almost feel the crisp air around my face. The barbed-wire snapshot is very creative too.
ReplyDeleteThe barbed-wire shot is interesting, but I prefer the 8:47 shot. It deserves to be matted, framed, and displayed. Jim
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful captures John. I'm with Wayfarin' Stranger - that 8:47 shot captures me. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots, and what a neat series. The 9:26 shot threw me a bit. That one looks like spring or summer!
ReplyDelete9:12 and 7:52 get my votes, although all of them are exquisite, John.
