To leave it all behind. To go to an empty space. Where the wind blows and the sand drifts and the sea surges and roars in the distance. The call of the wide open skies.
How lovely and peaceful it looks, it's calming just looking at the vast skies and empty shoreline. Just what's needed after a busy day. I'm just about to sit down with a glass of Baileys and your quiz:)
Beautiful photos, John. I especially was struck by the parallel lines in the car tracks and contrails. And I can feel the peace your seashore gives you; mine is gotten along streams in forested mountains, far from roads. Merry Christmas, and I'm looking forward to what you have for us in the new year. Jim
Merry Christmas, John! I feel sweet sensation from this post – the roars of the waves, the briny air, the feel of solitude and freedom. It feels cold physically but feels something warm in my heart.
I've very much enjoyed your blog this year - I appreciate the great attention to detail, and the amount of effort you put in on a daily basis. Keep up the excellent effort.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
