Your pictures of the English countryside make me very homesick, but of course, my home area in N Devon is a lot hillier than where you go for your walks. I really like the half timbered brick wall and doorway. And I like Gypsy Lane Farm as I enjoyed the different roof planes and shapes against the sky.Shammickitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11969803866899076638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404276749629719070.post-7794571926641347012016-01-12T06:40:57.510+00:002016-01-12T06:40:57.510+00:00What a lovely walk--I'm so glad you dragged me...What a lovely walk--I'm so glad you dragged me along! So, I stayed inside most of the day and watched football. Your boots look eminently practical like some of our winter boots over here - not pretty, but they really do the job. Place names are so interesting. Around here, we have "glen" this and "glen" that because of all the Scottish settlers in the 1800's even though it's not very hilly here. In Quebec, it's "Saint" this and "Saint" that because of the strong influence of the Catholic church.<br />Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01816796977553847916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404276749629719070.post-49577756649514939782016-01-10T17:39:13.469+00:002016-01-10T17:39:13.469+00:00A great walk and some lovely scenes and photograph...A great walk and some lovely scenes and photographs.
