These are great. Good eye for the close-up, John.
Nice collections of details.
Beauty in unexpected places! And great photos too - I wonder if you share them on Flickr or Pinterest?
Flickr or Pinterest? I have enough problems keeping this blog going!
This is a beautiful series, John. Every now and then I try to focus on details like these, but I rarely have as much success as you have had.
I really like this kind of photography... old rusty gears, tractor seats, fan belts. Great stuff!! A number of these would look great framed and hanging on a wall.
The farmer really enjoyed looking at these John.
Love the detail in your photos especially the old seat which says Martin, Stamford on it - is it a tractor seat?
Marvelous eye for farming art, John.
It certainly is art John.
Love close-ups of old gadgetry. You have a great eye. -- barbara
Glad that many of you - and even farmers - enjoyed these. They were all taken at Denny Abbey Farming Museum.
They built stuff to last back then! Love the details you captured.
I love these old things. Your photos have made them beautiful. Thanks for visiting my father-in-law's Normandy post. I agree with your comment. Have a great day John :)
Excellent detail shots John, love a bit of rust on old bits and pieces :)
These photographs are outstanding! I love every one! Beauty in unusual places ... I love machinery details. Excellent composition. You have such a good eye. Or two ... ;)
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
