Water Power

Just two pictures of the power of flowing water. They might be influenced by the Wave paintings of Maggi Hambling - I admire her work greatly - though she draws and paints the waves of the North Sea while these photographs are of a tiny stream in a wood. But the water has power even so.

Maggi Hambling's sea pictures can be seen at many places on the net - one of the best selections is at http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/maggi-hambling-breaking-waves

Take care.

  1. I'd not heard of Maggi Hambling before but these photographs are very like her paintings. You captured so many colours in each one, I really like them.
