A nice set of photos. The Gardens have more color than my Park does.
very pretty walk through the gardens John; they're a great place to visit and take snapshots
Such grand photos, John. Your compositions are quite beautiful. What a wonderful place to walk and be inspired.
Ahhh, although I know it takes time I'm happy to see your beautiful blog photos again...
So nice to walk through the Botanic Garden with you, Cousin. Love and hugs tm
So lovely to see the gardens where I saw my first Fritillaria, the chequered variety.
It's amazing how many colours the autumn has on its palette. I would have loved a walk in this park - with a camera, of course. Your post was a very nice substitute :-)
A stunning set of photos with a bird thrown in! aaahh--plants and birds, magic combination--The great greenhouse was a treat for me, too. I loved the gardens.
Thanks for the walk through Cambridge Gardens -- liked the textures, colors and water pool -- barbara
Really like the way the fallen leaves edge the paths, and the great overhanging tree branch in pic.1. The word "structure" comes to mind for pic.1-7,8 - the plants and trees have a sturdiness to them. Very pleasing. I also like the quirkiness of the sedum which is now purple with yellow leaves - no photo shop needed. Some durable looking rocks in pic.8 that go well with ferns that always look prehistoric. Inviting stepping stones across the stream. Thanks for the outing. All snowy out this way :)
Beautiful photos, as always. I'm interested to see that many trees still have their leaves.
How soothing it is to walk through the various different colors of the Cambridge Garden! I especially like the stepping stones and the reflection on the pool. Yoko
Just keep on rolling out that FAAAAAABULOUS red!!!
Beautiful, it's amazing how much colour there is still, this late in the year.
WOW! The botanic garden is still very beautiful. I fear the Toronto Botanical Garden is looking far browner.
I am amazed that it is still so green. And so much color! Next visit, I'd love to go there and just wander around a bit. Beautiful tour, John.
There are still some very pretty autumn colours around, including the pheasant!
Thank you for all the nice comments. After much rain and wind I'm afraid it's not quite so colourful now as I write this.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
