How imaginative, creative and entertaining are these scarecrows - bet they do a mighty job and are worthy of medals!
Two great posts John! There are some clever people around! I love the one of 'Her Majesty', good to see HRH and plenty of folk have a good sense of humour! Thanks for sharing!
Very creative. And I love the bit of cheek with the Queen's parachute stuck in a tree.
What fun! I enjoyed both parts. Scarecrow festivals seem to be becoming very popular, I saw an Olympic themed one on another blog recently, they are so creative.
Hahaha! so good. Love the diver and the 'couch potato' best. Fun post John and you are so right about cities always changing..for the better we hope!
These are rather good John - we have a scarecrow festival here in our village every year - some people do aazingly well.
another fun batch...love the parachuting queen!
Bradley Wiggins must have cycled all the way down from Kettlewell's Festival!
These are so inspired! I'm always amazed at people's creative talent. (I must say the couch potato one resonates quite a lot with me :)
These are terrific. I like the Bolt and parachuting Queen ones best.
Ha, these are great John :^) You put a big smile on my face this morning... love the Bolt stance, perfect!
i LOVE THE QUEEN!cracking efforts all round... amazing that everyone joined in so uch
They are absolutely brilliant. Go and find us some more. I love pics like these. I feel a new project coming on.
Very funny! Thank you for making me smile. ;)
I enjoyed this scarecrow series including the previous post. How imaginative and creative! They are more like life-size dolls than scarecrows. Some of them can’t scare crows, and I myself will be scared by some of them when I see them in the dim light.Scarecrows in the rice paddies is one of typical autumn scenes of Japan and Scarecrow festivals/contest are held in some places, too.Yoko
Oh these are great!
