The Lighthouse And The Lady

Hunstanton lighthouse

OK, I've been tinkering again, trying to make a straightforward photo look something like a painting. You probably need to click on the image to see it properly.

Meanwhile those of you who read my recent post entitled "Stuff" may recall that I mentioned Aunt Sarah Radford, who gave my mother an antique plate as a gift on her wedding day. In amongst my e-mails yesterday came a photo of Aunt Sarah, sent to me by my cousin, who is the authority on family history. So here is her photo:

Take care.

  1. I love to see old photos even if they are of someone else's relative. :)

  2. She looks a lovely old lady, although quite formidable John.

  3. I'm trying to catch up on your blog, John and it seems I've missed so much! I love the villages and pictures! Sorry to have been away, will try to keep up better this time around!

  4. John, someone is going to come across your blog 1,000 years from now and get famous by publishing the Stargoose Papers, a history of England at the end of the second Millenium and start of the third.

  5. Thanks for your kind words. Nice to hear from you again, Liz!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll try to answer any questions via a comment or e-mail within the next day or two (no hard questions, please!).
